Quality Control Technician

Arlington, TX / On-Site

Shift: 6:00a - 4:00p- Monday- Friday

Rate of Pay: $23.00/hr based on experinece

The Quality Control Technician ensures products meet specifications through inspections, testing, and documentation. This role supports production by verifying processes, identifying nonconformance, and driving corrective actions. The position also contributes to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, in-process, first article, and final inspections
  • Conduct dimensional checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Execute testing on in-process and finished goods
  • Verify conformance to drawings, specs, and customer requirements
  • Identify, document, and report nonconforming conditions (NCRs)
  • Support production with process verification and corrective actions
  • Maintain inspection logs, traceability, and testing records
  • Participate in audits, investigations, calibration checks, and EHS practices

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; technical coursework preferred
  • 3–4 years of quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience reading ANSI drawings, including GD&T fundamentals
  • Proficiency with inspection tools and basic statistical methods
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 environments
  • Knowledge of RCA methods (5 Whys, 8D, CAPA)
  • Experience in industrial, automotive, aerospace, or coatings manufacturing
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) with ability to communicate quality requirements clearly

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
