Production Operator I
Covington, GA
2nd Shift: 3:00p - 11:30p- Monday- Friday
Rate of Pay: $20.00/hr
Position Overview
Production Operator I supports safe, efficient manufacturing of high-quality adhesive products. This role operates production equipment, monitors quality, and follows standard operating procedures in a team-based environment. The position requires consistent attention to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing and packaging equipment per work instructions
- Monitor product quality and document results accurately
- Perform material handling, including lifting up to 50 lbs (with assistance as needed)
- Follow safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards
- Complete batch records and production documentation
- Troubleshoot basic equipment or process issues and escalate as needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Basic math, reading, and written communication skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Requirements
- Experience operating industrial or automated equipment
- Forklift experience or certification
- Experience with quality inspections or batch documentation
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $22.00/hr based on experience.In addition to your salary, H.B.
