POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible to take received customer orders to meet customer demands, may include export shipments when applicable.

Scope of duties:

• Input, monitor and coordinate customer orders (30-40 p/day)
• Manage all customer enquiries (20 ?30 p/day)
• Accurate pricing data entry
• Prepare customer credit adjustments, and customer invoices
• Communicate transit times, coordinate PODs and ETAs for customer orders
• Communicate with internal departments as required to provide support

Requirements:

To be considered you shall have at least 3-5 years working experience in customer service or related field. The person needs to be and be able to communicate at all levels. The preferred candidate must possess a professional phone manner.

To be considered for the role you must possess:

• Hands on experience in a fast-paced working environment
• Experience with SAP very highly regarded for this role
• 3-5 years experience in a similar customer service environment
• Numerical data entry speed of 8500 alpha numerical p/hr
• Professional and friendly phone manner
• Able to contribute proactively within a team setting
• Intermediate level knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Previous experience in processing DG export shipments would be advantageous.
• Victorian Drivers Licence

Ideally, you will have customer service experience preferably within a manufacturing, retail hardware, trade, logistics or supply chain environment with SAP exposure. Strong interpersonal skills, motivated, proactive and driven to succeed. Ability to work well under pressure, autonomously, have a positive & flexible attitude, and possess an excellent work ethic.
