Position Overview
The Technical Sales Professional II-2 drives growth by retaining existing business and developing new opportunities within the assigned territory. This role applies the H.B. Fuller sales process to deliver consistent results and provide technical, value‑based solutions to customers. Success requires strong execution, customer partnership, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver territory results by retaining 70% existing business and developing 30% new business.

  • Apply H.B. Fuller sales processes and maintain accurate CRM data.

  • Build a qualified sales funnel and provide reliable forecasts.

  • Conduct value‑based selling, pricing, and margin negotiation.

  • Deliver customer-focused solutions and gather Voice of Customer insights.

  • Promote innovative technologies and support product positioning.

  • Manage time, travel, and expenses to plan.

  • Provide timely reporting and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.

  • 2+ years in sales, technical service, or customer-facing roles.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft 365 tools.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills.

  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in adhesives, chemicals, or manufacturing industries.

  • Familiarity with contracting principles.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations.

  • Proven success generating new business opportunities.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $70,000-$91,000.
