The Supervisor for 2nd Shift must exemplify leadership capability within the team.  Responsible for managing floor activities ensuring the safety of all employees, process and equipment and keeping area supervisor informed of activities and progress during the shift.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Follows and encourages others to follow, without exception, all work instructions and safety rules, including use of all PPE and safety equipment

  • Participates and encourages others in the general housekeeping of plant and work area

  • Understands and trains others on monitoring of assigned equipment including start up-shut down & lockout/tag-out procedures for equipment responsibilities      

  • Maintains and encourages others to expected quality standards

  • Facilitates SAP (or other ERP system) process by:

    • Print process orders is ZPTP_SCHEUDLE using COPI

    • Consume and Teco of orders in CO60 and COR2

    • Ability to fix any consumption errors in CO54

    • Ability to fix any GR or Consumption mistakes using MB31 and MB1A

    • Ability to pick labels using LT12 and to cancel TO’s using LT24 and LT12

    • Select correct labels based off what batch ticket calls for and prints correct information onto labels using bartender with little to no mistakes

    • Double check and sign off on labels for every order to ensure accuracy

    • Manage all incoming and outgoing materials in provision2 and maintain the inventory

    • Cycle count

    • Clear negatives using LL01

  • Assist in managing employees and pack lines which includes:

    • Assigning orders to pack lines based off schedule and/or staffing

    • Assisting with scheduling as needed

    • Monitoring orders during the pack down process to prevent mistakes and to ensure employees understanding of each order

    • When order is complete perform an overall check to ensure its accuracy before GR

    • Ability to GR order using RF gun or LM0Works mandatory overtime as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency

  • Good math, reading, communication, and organizational skills

  • Working knowledge of SAP

  • No attendance issues

  • Demonstrates a willingness to assist co-workers in areas outside of their direct responsibility

Preferred Requirements

  • Lean Six Sigma

  • Able to use, facility specific, PLC based process control systems used in the manufacturing process

Physical Environment

  • While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to stand

  • The employee is frequently required to walk, climb stairs, use hands to remove or lift boxes, stretch and reach with arms extended, and stoop

  • The employee must, regularly, lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, alone, and occasionally lift and / or move more than 100 pounds, with assistance

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is based on experience.
