Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow all work instructions, safety rules, and company procedures without exception while performing assigned duties.
- Perform internal product transfers using the FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory methodology.
- Receive raw materials and, when required, collect samples for Quality Control Laboratory analysis.
- Store materials according to established procedures, ensuring proper stock rotation, safe storage practices, and compliance with company standards.
- Report any non-conforming or damaged products received to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Safely unload and load trucks, containers, and road tankers (bulk and packaged materials).
- Inspect trucks, containers, and road tankers to ensure they are suitable for loading and unloading activities and that products remain free from damage.
- Prepare customer orders accurately and on time by selecting products, packaging materials, and staging completed orders for shipment in accordance with customer requirements and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation by:
- Ensuring all required documents are completed, signed, and dated.
- Preventing loss or misplacement of documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following housekeeping standards and properly disposing of waste and used containers.
- Keep warehouse equipment clean and in good working condition, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments to support warehouse operations.
- Complete daily forklift inspection checklists before equipment use.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift operating experience and/or certification, or the ability to become certified.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to learn and use Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) and ERP systems such as PRISM.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SAP.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or similar environment.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse best practices.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive lifting and material handling tasks.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 25 kg.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $23.50 per hour.In addition to your salary, H.B.
