Industrial Maintenance Electrician
Grand Rapids, MI
12-hr Nights 6pm-6:30am (Initial training shifts to be 6am-6:30pm)
Position Overview
H.B. Fuller is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role ensures equipment reliability through preventive maintenance and rapid issue resolution. The ideal candidate brings technical expertise and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for industrial machinery
Inspect motors, transformers, and control panels for safety and performance
Diagnose and resolve issues in complex control systems
Interpret schematics and technical diagrams for installations and repairs
Install conduit systems and wiring layouts
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
Ensure compliance with NEC and safety regulations
Maintain accurate maintenance records
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance or similar field
Proficiency with three-phase power and high-voltage systems
Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Requirements
Journeyman or Master Electrician license
Experience with PLCs and automation systems
Familiarity with OSHA and LOTO protocols
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $33-$35/hr.In addition to your salary, H.B.
