The Account Payable Accountant is based in Guangzhou, reports to Accounts Payable Manager and operates payable and payments related to direct/Indirect purchase.

Primary Responsibilitiest

• Validate and book AP invoices through 3-way or 2-way matching.
• Keep track of invoice due dates and arrange proper payment schedule for timely and correct payments.
• Efficiently monitor the status of pending invoices/RNI and timely communication with Purchasing team and suppliers.
• Month end AP sub-ledger book close, provide reports to GL accountant for expense accruals.
• Inter-company current accounts reconciliation with their counterparts.
• Prepare AP balance & aging report to support the Balance Sheet Review, analyze and resolve outstanding issues.
• Invoice management & documents filing.
• Support annual audits and SOX controls.
• Support projects including procedure optimization and system improvement.

Minimum Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years working experience in AP function, preferably SSC in multinational companies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Experience working with SAP or another ERP system is essential.
