Primary Responsibilities
- Handle Clean Energy market with customers mainly located in China and a few outside China.
-Perform customer risk review regularly or when there is a need based on experience, sales input, agency reports, market study and financial status, etc.
- Have a high degree of sensitivity in market dynamics of the global and domestic photovoltaic industry. Periodically output the portfolio of the main clean energy customers and provide a full picture to management.
- Assign risk ratings and establish credit limits within authority level. Collaborate with the commercial team & customers to mitigate marginal risk situations and hold meetings proactively involving managers for further discussion and business decisions when appropriate.
- Manage customer orders held systematically for over limit and past due issue as per credit guideline.
- Prepare and send AR aging report to the respective person twice a month. Follow up payment with customers and sales rep by call or email and take necessary actions if any default.
- Review customer annual contracts to make sure the payment clause consistent between interior and exterior.
- Ensure internal controls such as payment term and credit limit changes in compliance with SOX.
- Carry out any other duties/ad-hoc assignments as and when instructed by the superior from time to time.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
- At least 5 years of related work experience in credit control. Experience in the Photovoltaic industry is a plus.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills. Candidate with rich experience in financing analysis and be able to gain insight into customer’s cash flow through financial data.
- Be skillful for data collection and analysis.
- Be familiar with risk control of payment methods like Letter of Credit, bank draft, commercial draft.
Preferred Requirements:
-Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PPT.
-Be familiar with SAP credit management module.
-Be able to communicate in English.
- Good team spirit.
