The Warehouse Worker III reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and under limited supervision has primary responsibility for maintaining the warehousing, receive and storing all goods in an appropriate manner, shipping finished goods, and ensuring that levels of safety, quality and housekeeping are in place. The job holder supports the Warehouse Supervisor by reinforcing and encouraging peers to follow all work instructions in compliance with all safety and company regulations
Follow, without exception, all work instructions and safety rules in all activities performed and reinforce and encourage peers to follow those rules.
Perform daily cycle counts
Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity
Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy
Research inventory discrepancies
Work with Inventory Control Coordinator in Houston to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand
Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
Cycle Data entry
Assist with other duties as required
High school degree or GED
2-year experience in in a similar environment and position
Cycle Counting Experience
Inventory control procedures experience
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to use MS Office applications (Word and Excel) and PRISM or SAP or ERP Environment
Ability to work under limited supervision
Employees receive full benefits, including medical, dental, insurance, 401k contribution, paid time off and paid Holidays. This position may also qualify for medical reimbursement depending on the employee’s annual base salary. If qualified, H.B. Fuller will pay up to 100% of the employee’s medical premium. All employees qualify for an annual cash bonus, based on business performance. Annual raises are based on company and individual performance.
