Position Title: Logistics Supervisor
Location: Shirwal
Position Overview
The Logistics Leader will report to the Supply Chain Manager and be responsible for leading end-to-end Logistics Operations across India. The role will ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective domestic transportation, import and export operations, customs compliance, trade compliance, warehouse logistics coordination, and execution of strategic logistics initiatives. The incumbent will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Global Logistics, Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers, Transporters, Government Authorities, and external logistics partners to ensure uninterrupted customer deliveries while maintaining full compliance with statutory and H.B. Fuller global policies.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead domestic transportation operations and on-time delivery performance
Optimize freight utilization, logistics costs, and transportation efficiency
Manage carrier performance, freight contracts, and KPI reporting
Oversee import/export operations, customs clearance, and shipping documentation
Ensure compliance with Customs, DGFT, EPCG, GST, AEO, and trade regulations
Manage logistics budgets, freight invoices, duties, and service provider costs
Lead internal, customs, GST, and statutory audits
Develop team capabilities, performance goals, and succession plans
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field
8–10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, customs, or supply chain within manufacturing
Strong knowledge of Customs regulations, DGFT, EPCG, AEO, GST, and export documentation
Hands-on experience with SAP ERP and logistics execution processes
Authorization to work in India and ability to travel as required
Preferred Requirements
Experience leading transportation and trade compliance programs
Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel
Demonstrated success in freight negotiation and logistics cost optimization
Proven people leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
