Job Title: Maintenance Technician III

Position Overview
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the job holder maintains the equipment and infrastructure in good working order to ensure optimal production conditions. Performs developed preventative/predictive maintenance tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- To ensure implementation of all Maintenance policies, SOP and procedures in the manufacturing activities.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance services of equipment in Production Plants, Utilities, ETP and Fire Hydrant System in a timely manner in line with the planning communicated by the Supervisor.
- ·Operation and Maintenance of Utilities like Thermic Fluid Heaters, Boiler, LPG Station, Cooling Tower, Chiller, Scrubbing System, Ventilation System and Fire Hydrant System
- Check for problems on the equipment and/or infrastructure and organize the work, following the diagnosis of the problems found and estimated time to repair.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic assemblies, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operational manuals and manufacturer’s specifications.
- Hand on experience for maintenance of various Pumps, Blowers, Vessels, Piping System, Conveyor Belts and other mechanical equipments in the plant
- Hands on experience of Material Handling Equipments like Hand Pallet trucks, Forklift, BOPT, Stackers, Drum Lifter, Dock Leveller etc.
- Hands on experience for troubleshooting the mechanical and Electrical issues in the plant
- He should have worked on Electrical Utilities like Transformer, PCC, MCC, Metering Kiosk, HT Breakers etc.
- Intimation of required spares to Maintenance Supervisor or Manager
- Implementation of all corrective actions for respective audit points as per instructions from Supervisor or Manager
- Support in factory pest control plan & related activities
- Knowledge about 5S, ISO, KAIZEN tools
- Maintaining machinery to ensure Optimum Availability, Maximum Uptime, Maximum Efficiency and Maximum Capacity Utilization
- Maintaining effective shop floor discipline and achieve the best results from the available resources
- Familiar with work to permit system, LOTOTO system.
- Document Maintenance repairs performed (e.g. Service Reports, Check the Water Meters) and complete technical records (e.g. Preventive Maintenance Checklist, Maintaining the shift Logbook and daily checklist)
- Carry out all operations in compliance with all legal and Company policies and procedures, regarding EHS, storage, housekeeping.
- Noting down the readings for the consumption of Electricity, Water, Diesel and LPG in the factory premises as per instructions from Maintenance Supervisors

Minimum Requirements
ITI (Electrician) 2 years Full Time course or Full Time Diploma course in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
5-7 Years of experience in Maintenance and Utilities
Having Electrical Wireman Licence or Supervisor’s License
Knowledge about Permit to Work System
Strong technical knowledge in the field of Electrical and Instrumentation
Able to analyse and troubleshoot Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical issues
Able to read and interpret Electrical circuit drawings for PCC, MCC and Utilities
Availability to work on call whenever required
Need to work in shifts
Need to stay in Shirwal
