Production Planner Job Description 

Locations: Klang, Malaysia

On boarding: ASAP

PRIMARY DUTIES

Ensure continual supply of RM Raw material and FG Finish goods to fulfill demand from forecast and sales order, identify planning strategy and rhythm and executed to meet budget of DOH, Slow moving inventory level and total inventory.

Daily routine jobs:

1. Double confirm and analyze the sales forecast & ordered volume by each SKU. Conduct capacity levering and identify/elaborate solution to address potential supply bottleneck

2.Release the planned order/purchase request per the result of MRP run, closely monitor the ETA of the PR

3.Expedite or delay open orders per the demand and the forecast

4.Arrange the detailed production plan/scheduling to optimize the production capacity and fulfill the customer order. Response change request from commercial team.

5.Control inventory turnover DOH days on hand at a rational level to ensure the continuously supply to production. Control total inventory value within budget.

6.Monitor and analysis the slow-moving items, control 90 days slow moving within budget. Closely work with relevant functions such as sales, R&D and operation to identify effective measures and sound solutions to consume slow moving (SLOB) material.

7.PR release/MO release/MO confirmation and the other system operation job

8.Identify single source RMs and RM supply weakness to continual improve supply stability and reliability.

9.Other tasks assigned by direct supervisor

Minimum Requirements

1.Bachelor degree or above

2.3+ year experience in material planning/production scheduling under Industrial/Manufacturing background

3.Good skills in computer and office software, especial Excel and or word

4.Good English skills of oral and written (listening, speaking, reading and writing).

5.Good communication and Coordination, quick response and actions oriented, diligent, responsible, patient & careful.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience in ERP like SAP system operation

2.Chemical, Mathematical education background, good at logicality, sensitive to data/number

3.Skilled at ERP platform operation, such as SAP master data maintenance experience is plus.

4. Willing to take initiatives, like challenges job and seek continual improvement and strive for excellence is a plus.
