Position Overview

The Production Operator is responsible for operating production equipment and supporting end-to-end manufacturing processes, including raw material preparation, packaging, labeling, and product handling. This role ensures all activities are performed in compliance with company quality standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. The position reports to the Production Manager/Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare and transport raw materials and packaging components to production areas

  • Operate processing equipment following defined procedures and work instructions

  • Monitor equipment performance to maintain target run rates

  • Perform initial product testing and release checks against specifications

  • Verify labels and packaging materials for accuracy and compliance

  • Package finished goods in line with company quality standards

  • Follow all quality, safety (EHS), and operational procedures

  • Maintain housekeeping standards within assigned work areas

  • Report deviations, issues, or abnormalities during production processes

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Production leadership

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree

  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety rules, and quality procedures

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office or similar software

  • Ability to work in shifts

  • Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required in a production environment

Preferred Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Basic understanding of English

  • Familiarity with production processes and equipment

  • Experience working under safety and quality compliance standards

Physical Environment

  • Standing for extended periods

  • Walking, climbing stairs, bending, and reaching

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance

  • Exposure to typical industrial conditions (temperature, dust, noise, and chemical environment)
