The Advanced Engineer will lead and support process improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. This role involves hands-on analysis, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, safety, and quality. Ideal for an early-career engineer, this position offers opportunities to grow technical and leadership skills in a dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage process improvement projects from initiation through execution.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Develop project budgets, ROI analyses, and track expenses.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for equipment and services.
  • Create and present financial and project performance reports.
  • Collaborate with production staff to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Support the Engineering Manager with technical assistance and project updates.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as PFDs, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related Engineering field.
  • 0–2 years of experience (internship or co-op in manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with financial data and reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with CAD software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with equipment design, testing, or commissioning.
  • Exposure to KPI tracking and performance reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively with both shop floor and executive-level stakeholders.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $84,000 - $110,000.
