H.B. Fuller’s Hygiene, Health, and Consumables Adhesives segment provides high quality adhesive solutions used in such markets as disposable hygienic products, rigid and flexible packaging, tapes and labels, paper products, and much more. The Production Manager is a key member of the manufacturing team and plays a crucial role in ensuring that production runs efficiently and meets quality standards. Strong leadership and management skills, a deep understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations are all prudent to profitability and mission success. The Production Manager must be able to work closely with other departments to ensure that production meets customer demand and the company's overall business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
Developing and implementing production plans and schedules to meet customer demand
Monitor’s production performance and analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement
Manages budgets, costs, and resources effectively to optimize production processes
Maintains quality control standards for all products produced
Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations in the production environment
Analyzes production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize production processes
Hires, trains, and supervises production staff
Identifies and resolves production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime
Works closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, and logistics to coordinate production and meet customer needs
Implements continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
Keeps up to date with industry trends and best practices in production management to ensure the company remains competitive
Work with the Plant Manager to ensure production orders/sales orders are completed on a timely basis while maintaining quality.
Promote cross-training of teammates wherever possible to grow the workforce and increase coverage of all jobs.
Adheres to all Company policies and procedures
Interacts with Human Resources personnel as needed to ensure proper staffing and all teammates adhere to Company policies
Plans, motivates, and holds Leads accountable for their department’s performance
Adheres to all requirements of sanitation, GMP, HACCP standards, and other hygiene policies
Observes and practices housekeeping procedures

Performs other assignments as management may direct
Discipline department personnel. Handle conflict effectively.
Minimum Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field
10 years’ experience in manufacturing environments with track record of performance and advancement in a manufacturing or production management role
In-depth knowledge of production management, risk management, and safety regulations
Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers
Understanding of quality control standards and production processes
Experience with production planning and scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
Knowledge of EH&S regulations with experience from the production industry
Proficiency with computer software and systems related to production management
Can work under little supervision
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $101,000 - $127,000.In addition to your salary, H.B. Fuller offers employees a competitive total rewards package including comprehensive benefits, incentive and recognitions programs, health & wellness benefits, 401K contributions, paid time off and paid holidays. Eligibility may vary.
