Position Overview

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Production Operator II to support safe, efficient manufacturing operations in a chemical production environment. This role is responsible for raw material preparation, mixer operation, packaging, quality checks, and accurate production documentation. The Production Operator II helps ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards while meeting production requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Verify raw materials, labels, weights, and batch information before production.

  • Operate mixers and follow documented production procedures.

  • Load materials, collect samples, unload, and package finished products.

  • Record production data to maintain traceability and compliance.

  • Conduct initial product checks and report specification deviations.

  • Package products according to established quality standards.

  • Maintain clean equipment and work areas.

  • Follow EHS, quality, and operating procedures; report safety concerns.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.

  • 3+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or 2+ years as a Production Operator I.

  • Ability to read and follow work orders, safety procedures, and production instructions.

  • Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office applications.

  • Availability to work assigned shifts and authorization to work in the location of employment.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with chemical mixing and packaging processes.

  • Basic English communication skills.

  • Experience documenting production or quality records.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing quality and safety management systems.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
