The Global Benefits Program Manager will manage a variety of benefits vendors, resolve escalated issues, manage and promote designated programs, update policies and procedures outside of North America as needed ensuring that they are as efficient and understandable as possible, and identify areas for process improvement relying on technology to support the process. In addition, this person will assist the Director of Global Benefits in making a business case for any strategic plan design changes, lead the implementation of the approved changes, develop a change management strategy, create all stakeholder communications, and manage the vendors through the changes for programs outside of North America.
Primary Responsibilities
(70%) Project Management
Manage global benefit projects as assigned by the Director of Global Benefits
Develop strategic plan designs, cost analyses, and business cases for new or enhanced programs
Lead implementation of approved benefit changes, including vendor coordination and stakeholder communication
Create and execute change management strategies for new vendors or programs
Partner with Sourcing and Legal to negotiate or refresh vendor contracts
Perform billing and budgeting activities for the Benefits function
(30%) Benefits Administration
Manage select global benefit programs and associated vendors
Resolve interface errors, plan design issues, and employee escalations
Serve as a subject matter expert on global benefit policies and programs
Support HR business partners by providing technical expertise and resolving escalated issues
Ensure legal compliance of benefit plans and maintain accurate documentation
Draft and update employee-facing communications, policies, and plan documents
Assist with external audits and actuarial valuations in collaboration with auditors, actuaries, and Finance
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (preferably in HR, Benefits, or related field)
5+ years of benefits experience required with at least 3 years of project and vendor management related to benefit programs while working for a global company or with global exposure
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
High sense of accountability and reliability
Ability to analyze and interpret technical procedures, plan documents, and regulations
Excellent written communication skills for employee-facing materials
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS/vendor systems
Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills
Willingness to work hands-on and maintain confidentiality of employee information
Preferred Requirements

Experience in complex, global organizations with mature HR processes

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. This position is also eligible for Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP) participation.In addition to your salary, H.B. Fuller offers employees a competitive total rewards package including comprehensive benefits, incentive and recognitions programs, health & wellness benefits, 401K contributions, paid time off and paid holidays.
