Position Overview
The Global Compensation Director is a key leader within the Total Rewards Center of Excellence, responsible for providing leadership and management for compensation programs and processes including equity, proxy Compensation Discussion & Analysis disclosure, Board and executive deferred compensation, project management, compensation program design, and providing regional leadership for total rewards for Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Compensation
· Serve as a key advisor on executive compensation strategy, including pay-for-performance alignment, benchmarking, and design of incentive programs
· Partner with the VP, Total Rewards to develop materials and recommendations for executive leadership and the Compensation Committee
· Lead the proxy Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A) process, ensuring clear, accurate, and compelling disclosure
· Provide oversight of equity compensation programs, ensuring effective governance, compliance, administration, and alignment with company objectives
· Oversee executive and Board of Directors deferred compensation programs
Global Compensation
· Lead global compensation program modifications and redesign
· Establish and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and controls to ensure consistent, compliant, and scalable compensation practices globally
· Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and public company standards
· Drive standardization while enabling appropriate regional flexibility
· Lead compensation program redesign projects
Project Leadership & Transformation
· Lead and deliver key compensation projects, including policy updates, and process improvements
· Identify opportunities to modernize compensation practices, tools, and operating models
· Drive continuous improvement in processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and user experience
· Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation philosophy, policies, and pay decisions
Analytics, Technology & Insights
· Leverage compensation systems (e.g., Workday) and market data tools to drive efficiency and insight
· Develop and deliver data-driven analyses and recommendations to inform leadership decisions
· Enhance reporting, dashboards, and executive-level insights related to compensation programs
Regional Leadership – Latin America
· Lead compensation strategy and execution for Latin America, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with global frameworks
· Manage country-specific compensation reviews, including inflation analysis, market benchmarking, and salary structure adjustments
· Partner with global benefits and regional HR to deliver integrated Total Rewards solutions
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
· 12+ years of progressive compensation experience, including global, executive and sales compensation
· Experience supporting a publicly traded company, including proxy disclosure
· Experience in compensation program design, including sales compensation, short- and long-term incentive plans
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
· Proven ability to influence and communicate complex concepts clearly to senior leadership.
· Demonstrated project leadership experience, including managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
· Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation
· MBA or Master’s degree, Human Resources or related field
· Experience leading compensation transformation or modernization initiatives
· Strong knowledge of global compensation regulations and governance practices

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $170,000-$210,000.In addition to your salary, H.B. Fuller offers employees a competitive total rewards package including comprehensive benefits, incentive and recognitions programs, health & wellness benefits, 401K contributions, paid time off and paid holidays. Eligibility may vary.
