Lab Technician
1st Shift
Primary Responsibilities
Must be able to perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses accurately and expeditiously. These range from very simple to complex.
Must be flexible within an environment that is often repetitive and may have changing priorities.
Must demonstrate ability to communicate well with fellow employees, suppliers and customers.
Must have ability to problem-solve with minimal direction.
Take ownership of assigned technical service requests including document work, provide status updates, communicate with requestor(s)
Execute application/laboratory test plans to support material characterizations, process characterizations and root cause analysis.
Manage assigned laboratory equipment, product and supplies including preventative maintenance on equipment, shipment of raw materials, products and substrates to and from lab, assigned lab cleanliness and support standardizations/5S or equipment and processes.
Support quality and cost savings initiatives.
Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.
Minimum Requirements
Junior college or science related courses taken
Good hands-on skills;
Good communication skill, good teamwork skills;
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $27/hr.In addition to your salary, H.B.
