The Tax Analyst I supports the tax department by assisting in the preparation of various tax compliance filings, calculating global tax provisions, and contributing to process improvements and special projects. This role is ideal for individuals starting their tax career who want to gain broad exposure to corporate taxation in a collaborative and detail-oriented environment.
Primary Responsibilities
• Assist with preparation of U.S. federal income tax returns and supporting calculations
• Prepare U.S. state income tax returns and supporting schedules
• Support quarterly estimated payments and extension filings
• Contribute to the preparation of international tax forms (e.g., Forms 5471 and 8858)
• Help manage monthly sales and use tax compliance obligations
• Assist with quarterly and annual U.S. and state tax provision calculations
• Prepare federal and state return-to-accrual and book-to-tax calculations
• Complete account reconciliations related to tax accounts
• Support process improvements for tax compliance and data gathering
• Research changes in federal and state tax law, regulations, and rates
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of relevant tax experience (internships included)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Requirements
• Master’s degree in Taxation or CPA eligible
• Internship or experience in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department
• Experience with tax software (e.g., OneSource, CorpTax, Alteryx)
• Familiarity with sales and use tax compliance
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $63,000 - $82,000.In addition to your salary, H.B. Fuller offers employees a competitive total rewards package including comprehensive benefits, incentive and recognitions programs, health & wellness benefits, 401K contributions, paid time off and paid holidays. Eligibility may vary.
