Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and ensures compliance with the production schedule by optimizing human resources and equipment usage. This role guarantees safety, product quality, and timely delivery while managing operational issues during the shift.
Primary Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with the production schedule and manufacturing timelines
• Validate adherence to production and unloading flows during the shift
• Prepare detailed reports on manufacturing and unloading times, identifying downtime and root causes
• Manage problem-solving for issues arising during the shift
• Review and communicate work strategies with the production team before shift start
• Lead and supervise production team activities to ensure safety and efficiency
• Monitor equipment usage and optimize resources
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the plant
Minimum Requirements
• Technical degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a supervisor in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Intermediate English proficiency
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of production planning and resource optimization
• Legal authorization to work in Mexico
Preferred Requirements
• 50-hour SG-SST course (desirable)
• Experience in safety and quality compliance
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage and motivate teams effectively
