Position Overview
The Sourcing Analyst supports day-to-day sourcing and category management activities while driving improvements in systems, processes, and sourcing efficiency. This role reports to a senior sourcing leader and supports 1–3 Managers or Directors.
Primary Responsibilities
Sourcing & Category Support (30–60%)
- Support daily category management activities
- Directly source select categories to ensure best total value and supply continuity
- Partner with sourcing leadership on execution and continuous improvement
Analytics & Reporting (20–40%)
- Analyze sourcing, pricing, and supplier data to support decision-making
- Track performance metrics and support reporting needs
Transactional Support (10–30%)
- Update pricing and maintain data in ERP and sourcing systems
- Support invoice resolution and payment-related issues
Systems & Process Improvement (0–100%)
- Identify and support improvements to sourcing systems and processes
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Competencies
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus (e.g., Spanish)
- Collaborative, adaptable, and accountable
- Demonstrates operational excellence and continuous improvement mindset
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of sourcing or related experience
- Experience with S&OP, ERP, and payment systems
- 1+ year supporting manufacturing environments
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Strong desire and ability to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Additional related experience
