Join H.B. Fuller as a Reactor Operator, where you’ll ensure safe and efficient operation of chemical reactors to meet production goals. This role involves monitoring processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting a collaborative team environment. You’ll play a key part in delivering high-performance adhesives that impact industries worldwide.
Reactor Operator
Seneca, IL / On-Site
12-hour Dupont Schedule: 5:00a - 5:00p and 5:00p- 5:00a
Rate of Pay: $29.21
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor reactor systems per established procedures
- Measure and mix raw materials accurately
- Record process data and maintain documentation
- Perform routine equipment checks and minor adjustments
- Follow safety protocols and report hazards promptly
- Assist with troubleshooting and process improvements
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in manufacturing or chemical processing
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and computer skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Requirements
- Associate degree in technical or chemical field
- 2+ years reactor or batch processing experience
- Familiarity with SAP or similar systems
- Forklift certification
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $29.10.In addition to your salary, H.B.
