Position Title: Operations – Single Point of Contact
Location: Nienburg, Weser – Onsite

Position Overview

The Operations SPOC serves as the key liaison for all operational activities at a production site, ensuring seamless communication between on-site teams and remote scheduling. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, monitoring production workflows, and ensuring that schedules created by remote teams are executed efficiently. Ideal candidates bring strong coordination skills and hands-on production experience, thriving in dynamic manufacturing environments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison between production operations and the scheduling team to align plans with site capacity and constraints.

  • Maintain and update documentation such as change-over matrix and shift patterns.

  • Monitor adherence to safety, quality, and process standards, initiating improvements where needed.

  • Serve as the first escalation point for scheduling or equipment/material issues.

  • Coordinate solutions to real-time disruptions with relevant teams.

  • Facilitate timely communication between on-site and off-site teams.

  • Provide updates on production status, metrics, and constraints.

  • Support teams in executing schedules and meeting output goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of production methods in batch-processing chemical plants.

  • Several years of hands-on production experience.

  • Completion of supervisor/master training (e.g., Industriemeister Chemie) or similar qualification.

Preferred Requirements

  • English language proficiency (minimum B2).

  • German language proficiency (minimum B2).

Physical Environment

  • Office location with on-site coordination responsibilities.
