Production Planner (m/w/d)

Position Overview:
- Optimise production planning according to customer order requirements, forecast and safety stock levels, taking into account batch sizes, delivery times and delivery dates.
- Recognising deviations from deadlines and defining countermeasures in cooperation with the relevant interfaces.
- Close coordination with various departments, in particular Supply Chain, Order Fulfilment, Production, Purchasing and Customer Service.
- Collaboration in the further development of planning processes with the aim of optimising key site targets, e.g. SIFOT, inventories.
**The position is initially limited to 2 years**
Main responsibilities:
- Planning of production areas with the aim of efficiently utilising existing capacities and delivering to our customers on time.
- Creation of production plans using SAP-based planning tools.
- Processing of production documents.
- Monitoring compliance with production plans.
- On-time delivery to our internal and external customers.
- Coordination with the EIMEA Supply Chain, Order Fulfilment, Customer Service and Production departments.
- Determination of capacity requirements and inventory monitoring to optimise stock levels.
- Implementing and supporting projects to optimise existing processes and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Technical understanding of production processes in the company.
- Practical experience in planning and controlling production processes (experience in the chemical industry is an advantage, but not a must).
- Good communication and co-ordination skills with various contacts/interfaces.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- SAP knowledge in the area of PP ERP systems (SAP).
- Good knowledge of SAP (modules SD, MM, PP).
