Position Overview:

• Optimise production planning according to customer order requirements, forecast and safety stock levels, taking into account batch sizes, delivery times and delivery dates.
• Recognising deviations from deadlines and defining countermeasures in cooperation with the relevant interfaces.
• Close coordination with various departments, in particular Supply Chain, Order Fulfilment, Production, Purchasing and Customer Service.
• Collaboration in the further development of planning processes with the aim of optimising key site targets, e.g. SIFOT, inventories.

**The position is initially limited to 2 years**

Main responsibilities:

• Planning of production areas with the aim of efficiently utilising existing capacities and delivering to our customers on time.
• Creation of production plans using SAP-based planning tools.
• Processing of production documents.
• Monitoring compliance with production plans.
• On-time delivery to our internal and external customers.
• Coordination with the EIMEA Supply Chain, Order Fulfilment, Customer Service and Production departments.
• Determination of capacity requirements and inventory monitoring to optimise stock levels.
• Implementing and supporting projects to optimise existing processes and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Technical understanding of production processes in the company.
• Practical experience in planning and controlling production processes (experience in the chemical industry is an advantage, but not a must).
• Good communication and co-ordination skills with various contacts/interfaces.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• SAP knowledge in the area of PP ERP systems (SAP).
• Good knowledge of SAP (modules SD, MM, PP).
