Position Overview
H.B. Fuller is seeking a Production Operator to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for material preparation, equipment operation, quality checks, and product packaging while following established procedures and safety standards. The position contributes to consistent production performance and compliance with quality and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare raw materials and packaging materials according to production requirements.
- Transport materials to designated production areas and report process deviations.
- Operate processing equipment following work instructions and standard procedures.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintain target production rates.
- Perform initial product testing and release checks to verify specification compliance.
- Inspect labels and packaging materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to requirements.
- Package finished products in accordance with H.B. Fuller quality standards.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and comply with all quality, operational, and EHS procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience: No prior manufacturing experience required.
- Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Skills: Ability to read and follow work orders, production instructions, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
- Work Authorization/Availability: Ability to work assigned shifts.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Skills: Basic English reading and communication skills.
- Certifications: Manufacturing, safety, or production-related training is preferred.
- Skills: Experience working within quality management and EHS compliance standards.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
