Account Manager - Northeast Territory for Durable Assembly

Location: Northeast U.S.

The Durable Assembly business unit has an open territory in the Northeast U.S. which covers from Virginia to New York. This 8 state territory is full of sales potential working with large scale customers that manufacture flooring, sponges, RV’s, laminated panels, furniture, filters, and textiles. We are looking for a creative, hard-working individual who is experienced at selling value and a comprehensive solution to multiple stakeholders.

The Account Manager position is expected to grow and retain H.B. Fuller's market share and customer base in key market segments while achieving profit sales targets. The Account Manager is expected to: demonstrate an ability to communicate and influence at all levels; be technically competent and independently able to manage demonstrations and technical problem-solving; be focused on growth (larger opportunities), and optimizing price and profitability; be accountable for delivering results; and have the ability to train & mentor entry / new sales roles.

Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree, with a technical/mechanical, marketing, or chemistry background preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience; related industry and B2B experience, preferably with a chemistry background.
  • Open to home base in Northeast part of U.S. near major airport.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.
  • Travel 60%+ including overnight trips
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Employees are eligible for full benefits, including medical, dental, insurance, 401k contribution, paid time off and paid holidays. This position may also qualify for medical reimbursement depending on the employee’s annual base salary. If qualified, H.B. Fuller will pay up to 100% of the employee’s medical premium. All employees also qualify for an annual cash bonus, based on business performance. Annual raises are rewarded based on company and individual performance.
