The Applications Engineer will be a Technical consulting for processing and application of adhesives and sealants regarding glass / insulating glass application with worldwide travel activity, project coordination with customers and internal projects, product group related responsibility for technical documentation and international certification and approval, trouble shooting.


  • Technical consulting and processing of customer requests
  • Processing and application technology related support of adhesive and sealants for glass on site
  • Support of ASM, representatives and quality department with processing of claims, screening in product and application related problems
  • Application technology related support of R& D projects for ongoing development and development of new products
  • Preparation and administration of product group related documentation
  • Competition monitoring
  • Implementation of internal and external training and education
  • Presentations, trade shows
  • Setting up of test reports, maintenance of internal data base
  • Support of testing in the technical service glass laboratory


  • Graduated level in Chemical/ Technical field
  • Previous experience in a similar technical role
  • Familiar providing trainings/education to diferent teams
  • Familiar with trials and demos to customers
  • Good understanding of Sealants/Adhesives (mandatory)
  • Good English communication skills (other languages will be a bonus)
  • Ability to work indeoendently and in a team as well.
  • Willingness to travel (more than 50%)
