The Role?

The primary objective of this position is to compile and prepare reasonable and accurate cost information in a timely and useful manner. This position is an active contributor to the development of the day-to-day operations of the business. Specific activities include compliance and control, continuous process improvements, efficient and accurate transaction processing among others.

What will YOU do?

  • Provide support to the team with complex material setups and material master data analysis.
  • Conduct reviews of Moving Average analysis, applying a strong understanding of costing valuation methodologies.
  • Oversee the Monthly Cost Run analysis, including the validation and approval of revaluation impacts.
  • Analyze and reviews manufacturing and work-in-process (WIP) variances, demonstrating a strong grasp of capitalization principles.
  • Manage the calculation, recognition, and review of inventory impairments, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS and GAAP) to properly value impaired inventory.
  • Possess a solid understanding of intercompany profit elimination concepts and manages them from a consolidation perspective, ensuring alignment with relevant accounting requirements.
  • Review and analyzes financial statements, delivering insightful commentary and connecting results with Market P&L and other key reports used by stakeholders across the organization.
  • Participate in stock take training sessions and is well-versed in the required plant protocols.
  • Assist the team with complex product costing inquiries, engaging with both operations and commercial teams to deliver meaningful insights into cost behavior and potential business impacts.

Minimum Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Management or similar;
  • At least 2 years of related work experience (Costing, Audit, FP&A and others);
  • Solid knowledge of activity-based and standard costing methodologies;
  • Ability to conduct data analysis using statistical methods and data visualization tools while ensuring financial data accuracy;
  • Fluency in English;

Preferred Requirements

  • SAP costing experience (FI/CO and MM modules);
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, including USGAAP and IFRS;
