Position Overview
The Ethics & Compliance Manager will play a pivotal role in promoting H.B. Fuller’s strong culture of ethics and compliance. This position will have global responsibility across H.B. Fuller’s company-wide Ethics & Compliance program and will work cross-functionally to manage and develop a program that meets the needs of a dynamic, growing company. This is an ideal role for a candidate seeking broad exposure to all aspects of a global corporate ethics and compliance program. The position reports to the Global Director, Ethics & Compliance.
Primary Duties
- Maintain, update, and provide administrative oversight over the Company’s core compliance policies, including the Code of Business Conduct.
- Develop, coordinate, and administer a company-wide training program to ensure awareness of core policies.
- Administer whistleblower helpline and coordinate helpline investigations to ensure timely completion of investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Train investigators on investigation best practices to ensure high-quality, consistent results.
- Oversee global third-party screening program and work with regional leads to ensure efficient workflows and timely review.
- Stay-up-to date on relevant laws, regulations, and guidance and propose appropriate updates to ethics & compliance program.
- Support mergers and acquisition process, including participation in due diligence and integration.
- Prepare reports and analyses for the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and the executive-level Business Ethics and Compliance Committee.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years' experience in ethics and compliance, internal audit or legal function, preferably in a multinational corporate setting, including program management, training, internal investigations, audits and/or third-party compliance
- Subject-matter expertise in one or more of the following areas preferred: anti-corruption and FCPA, third-party compliance, fraud and corporate crime, cyber-security, data privacy and/or trade compliance
Preferred Requirements
- Relevant post-graduate degree
- Significant experience managing an employee reporting system, online ethics training and/or third-party compliance system, preferably for a global company
