Position Overview
Drive the digital transformation of indirect tax by combining SAP expertise, tax technology, data analytics, and compliance to support a global indirect tax function.
Primary Responsibilities
Act as key Indirect Tax contact for ERP (SAP) configuration, including VAT codes, tax determination logic, and master data maintenance
Support implementation, optimization, and maintenance of tax technology solutions (e.g., tax engines, reporting and data extraction tools)
Analyze large datasets to identify inconsistencies, risks, and improvement opportunities in indirect tax reporting
Support tax audits by preparing data extracts, reconciliations, and audit documentation
Collaborate closely with Finance, Shared Service Centers, IT, and external tax advisors to ensure system-driven compliance and process alignment
Participate in finance and tax-related projects, ensuring indirect tax requirements are correctly translated into system and process design
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at automation, standardization, and risk reduction in indirect tax compliance
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years in indirect tax, tax technology, or ERP-related roles
Advanced SAP and Excel proficiency
Exposure to global entities and cross-border tax processes
Familiarity with tax engines, automation tools, or digital reporting (e.g., SAF-T, e-invoicing)
Fluent in English
Clear written and verbal communication with strong organization skills and curiosity
