Position Title: IT Operations Intern
Position Overview
The IT Operations Internreports to the IT Manager or IT Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring that the organization's IT systems and infrastructure operate effectively and efficiently. They play a critical role in ensuring that end-users have the necessary tools and support to perform their job duties and that IT systems and processes align with business objectives. In addition to technical support, an IT Operations Intern is responsible for documenting and reporting on IT-related issues and providing feedback to management on system performance and improvements. They will assist with training end-users on new technologies or systems.
Primary Responsibilities
This individual will be involved in a variety of activities centered on the organization’s core systems. The primary customer base served includes internal business users. Areas of focus include:
· CUSTOMER SUPPORT (80%)
Provide technical support to end-users in resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and diagnose IT-related problems and implement appropriate solutions.
Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
Monitor and analyze system performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive steps to prevent them.
Ensure that all IT-related incidents and service requests are logged, tracked, and resolved within agreed-upon SLAs.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure that all IT-related issues are resolved promptly and effectively
Maintain accurate documentation
· DOCUMENTATION & COMMUNICATION [20%]
Document business processes and standards.
Implement service management best practice documentation
Conduct effective, ongoing communication, both written and verbal.
Create self-service documentation and solutions
Minimum Requirements
Coursing Bachelors in Information Technology or related
English language skill
Preferred Requirements
Proficiency in Service Management Best Practices
German language Skill
