Marketing & Communications Intern
Position Overview
The Marketing & Communications Intern is responsible for supporting the Engineering Adhesives (EA) EIMEA Marketing team by creating, adapting and coordinating marketing materials that strengthen the H.B. Fuller brand and support commercial activities. This role works under the direction of the Strategic Marketing Specialist and supports the development of visual content, sales enablement tools, presentations, brochures, diagrams and simple video assets. This internship offers exposure to industrial B2B marketing within a global company and provides a solid foundation in content creation, coordination and marketing communications.
Primary Responsibilities
The intern will support a range of activities that contribute to improved content quality, operational efficiency and communication consistency across EA. Examples include:
General Marketing Support
- Assist with preparing and formatting presentations and documents
- Provide operational support to Marketing activities to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Help with light administrative tasks related to marketing materials, organization and content preparation
- Create and adapt visual and written content in Canva and PowerPoint following brand guidelines
- Develop and update sales enablement tools such as presentations, brochures, infographics and simple video materials
- Support with video tasks (e.g., filming, simple editing, formatting, preparing visual assets)
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance clarity, structure and visual quality
- Maintain and organize marketing content libraries and files
Support Content Execution and Coordination
- Assist with coordination of content development with external vendors
- Gather basic inputs or clarifications from internal teams when needed
- Prepare and format materials for internal or customer-facing use
- Track progress, timelines and deliverables for marketing materials
- Ensure content meets quality, brand and messaging standards
Digital Marketing & Analytics Support
- Assist in preparing content for social media channels
- Adapt visuals or messages for use in digital channels
- Monitor basic engagement indicators
- Collect simple metrics related to marketing activities
- Support basic reporting using Excel or PowerPoint
- Help track performance of marketing content or digital initiatives
- Coordinate with the Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team when needed
Minimum Requirements
- Academic degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, Management, or other related fields
- Proficiency with Canva and strong PowerPoint skills; basic knowledge of Excel (filters, tables, simple formulas)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail, organization and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and reprioritize based on guidance
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn about B2B industrial marketing
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with internal teams and external vendors
Preferred Requirements
- Basic video editing experience
- Familiarity with Adobe tools (Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus
