POSITION OVERVIEW

The Marketing Communications Analyst is responsible for providing marketing support by working with internal partners and external vendors to develop marketing materials, such as: graphic designs, brochures/pamphlets, trade shows materials, sales training manuals, sales sample cards, schematics, and videos. This position will also assist marketing team members in execution of delivery of content via traditional or digital channels.

To drive profitable growth and win with customers, the successful candidate will work under the direction of marketing team members or commercial leaders to deliver content and coordinate activities that are aligned with market segment strategy, strengthen the H.B. Fuller brand, and increase demand for the company’s products and services.

PRIMARY DUTIES

This individual will be involved in a variety of activities to support growth initiatives and prevent erosion, of which some examples are listed below:

  • Create and manage content
    • Provide marketing communications strategy for promote products
    • Create visual or written content per our brand guidelines
    • Provide support with video scripts, shooting, and editing
    • Provide creative marcom recommendations to marketers
    • Manage content in the H.B. Fuller Academy
  • Manage content delivery and events
    • Coordinate content distribution via social media, email blasts, etc.
    • Work with the marketing team to define delivery of content and coordinate the execution of the delivery by working with the appropriate internal or external partners/vendors
    • Help marketers by coordinating opportunities to showcase our experts to the market (ex. speaking spots at seminars, training video for a group of strategic customers, etc.)
  • Distribution support
    • Create visual or written content per our brand guidelines
    • Provide guidance and collaborate on co-branded content
    • Build and maintain relationships with distributors
    • Gain an understanding of distributor needs and provide recommendations accordingly

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

  • 2-year college degree required, or 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing assistant or analyst type of role in a business or agency environment

  • Basic understanding or ability to quickly learn about the markets we serve, products/solutions we offer, and ability to increase knowledge on market conditions, customer applications, and adhesive technologies

  • Can manage relationships and expectations with multiple stakeholders

  • Fluent in English and other languages would be a bonus

  • Excellent communication skills, specifically writing

  • High level of proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word

  • Can self-manage time and reprioritize tasks based on feedback from stakeholders

  • Ability and willingness to learn new tools to create and deliver marketing content (ex. Canva)
