Position Overview

Reporting to the Pricing Excellence Manager the Pricing Data Analyst will strengthen the Pricing Excellence team by combining hands-on data preparation and reporting with the ability to apply statistical methods for pricing insights. This hybrid role ensures operational excellence today while preparing the team for advanced analytics and AI tomorrow.

Primary Duties

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to deliver clear, actionable pricing insights.
• Build and optimize SQL queries and views for data extraction and transformation.
• Write Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks and enable deeper analytics.
• Prepare datasets for advanced analysis, including elasticity, forecasting, and trend models.
• Collaborate with the team on automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a bridge between data engineering tasks (cleaning, structuring, reporting) and statistical analysis (regressions, model-building).

Minimum Requirements (Skills & Experience)

• Master’s degree or advanced coursework in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Analytics.
• 4–5 years of experience in SQL, Power BI, and Python.
• Solid understanding of statistics and econometrics (e.g., regression analysis, elasticity, hypothesis testing).
• Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
• Experience with data visualization and storytelling through dashboards.
• Good communication skills and team spirit to thrive in a small, high-impact team.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and actions.
• Curious and proactive, always looking for ways to improve processes, automate tasks, and enhance data quality.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (querying, joins, data cleaning, data transformation).
• Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report development).
• Solid working knowledge of Python for data manipulation, automation, and basic statistical modeling (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels).

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, statsmodels, TensorFlow, or similar).
• Experience working in pricing, finance, operations, or another data-driven business function.
• Experience with data visualization tools beyond Power BI (Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
• Experience with Python automation, scripting, or small-scale production deployments.
• Experience in multinational or multi-business-unit environments.
