Position Title: RTR Intern

Position Overview

The RTR Intern reports to the Record to Report Manager and has to give support to the General Ledger Accountants in order to ensure that the Financial Statements are correctly prepared for Statutory and USGAAP purposes.

Primary Responsibilities

Supporting General Ledger Accountants on:

  • Preparation of Monthly Accounts, in compliance with USGAAP and Statutory GAAP accounting principles and company procedures, within the timelines set in cooperation with Management and other functions.

  • Ensure that Financial Statements give a true and fair view of company’s business.

  • Support with all necessary journal entries and guarantee that all the supporting documentation are in place.

  • Perform internal controls in compliance with SOX Requirements.

  • Other tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field

  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferably in advance Excel- e.g. Pivot Tables/Macros)

  • Organized, Motivated, Professional and good analytical skills

  • Independent, Proactive with strong presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with other employees

  • Ability to solve problems and communicate at all levels
