Position Overview
The Sourcing Analyst responsibility includes assurance of supply, superior cost management and uncompromising stewardship in support of our internal & external customers. They will have system responsibility including, but not limited to, price updates, invoice discrepancy resolution, and vendor registration. The Analyst will have additional support responsibilities to include a variety of project-related work and daily management tasks related to material sourcing, usage tracking and forecasting and price reconciliation.
Primary Responsibilities
Transactional Support
- Maintain and update pricing information within ERP and sourcing systems.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues with internal teams.
- Support supplier onboarding and vendor master data maintenance.
- Monitor, update and ensure accuracy of sourcing-related system data.
- Assist with purchase order and contract administration activities.
Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare spend analysis and sourcing performance reports.
- Support rebate maintenance, contract compliance monitoring, and volume analysis.
- Assist in gathering and validating sourcing data for business reviews and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain dashboards, KPI tracking, and sourcing documentation.
Sourcing Support
- Support Request for Quote (RFQ) and bid analysis activities.
- Assist sourcing managers with supplier communications and documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing sites to resolve system related concerns.
- Acting in compliance with sourcing policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Systems, Automation & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for automation and process standardization within sourcing activities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency and reduce manual transactional activities.
- Assist in documenting business requirements, process maps, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, shared services or related function preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems, procurement tools, or payment platforms is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Fluency in English
