What you can expect from H.B. Fuller’s Internship Program:
You’ll be joining a cohort of talented students from a variety of schools across Portugal. We hire interns in the following positions: T&E, Sourcing and Credit and Collections. 
The projects we task our interns to lead are impactful and meaningful to our organization. You’ll be supported by your Manager and Mentor to gain in-depth knowledge of the adhesive industry and collaborate with various departments and functions. We also offer an established path for next-level opportunities – making this internship the starting point for a long-term career path.

Our Internship Experience includes:
    • 2 months paid program beginning the beginning of July to the end of August to gain insight and knowledge in your field.

Position Overview: The Summer Sourcing Intern will support the analysis and optimization of tail spend within diverse raw materials categories in Europe. The role’s primary purpose is to identify cost, risk, and value opportunities by analyzing supplier fragmentation, single-sourced raw materials, and contribution margin impact across products and regions. Through data-driven spend analysis, benchmarking, and bid feasibility assessments, the intern will generate actionable insights to inform sourcing strategies and potential competitive events. This position will directly contribute to improved sourcing decisions and long-term value creation for the sourcing team.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Analyze European raw material tail spend to identify cost reduction, value creation, and supplier consolidation opportunities.
· Identify raw materials suitable for competitive bids through analysis of spend aggregation potential and supplier competitiveness.
· Identify single-sourced raw materials and assess associated supply risk, contribution margin impact, and mitigation opportunities.
· Support the development of sourcing recommendations, including potential bidding strategies, supplier rationalization, or alternative sourcing options.
· Prepare clear, data-driven summaries and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to the sourcing team and stakeholders.
· Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create projects, understand technical requirements, and support implementation of sourcing initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:
· Currently Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Business Administration
· Fluency in spoken and written English and proficiency with Excel or other data-analysis tools
