Position Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Mindelo, Vila Do Conde
Position Overview
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the organization's growth by identifying, engaging, and selecting talent that aligns with our values, contributes to our culture, and drives our success as an organization. You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs, execute recruitment strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Work closely with hiring managers to comprehend position requirements, role responsibilities, and candidate profiles to design effective recruitment and sourcing strategies.
Utilize recruitment technology and sourcing platforms to identify and engage with potential candidates.
Write inclusive and compelling job postings that resonate with a diverse range of candidates, reflecting our organizational culture, and effectively convey role responsibilities and qualifications.
Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, cultural fit, and potential contributions to the organization.
Provide interviewers with guidance and training on effective interviewing techniques.
Utilize knowledge of the organization’s business model, structure and strategy to promote company values, culture and career growth opportunities.
Deliver a positive and engaging candidate experience by providing timely communication, feedback, and information throughout the recruitment process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
Stay informed about industry trends, recruitment technology and labor market conditions to provide valuable insights for recruitment strategies.
Participate in recruitment and networking events to build talent pipelines.
Adhere to internal company recruitment processes and policies, upholding consistency, and in alignment with EEO legislation and regional compliance requirements.
Contribute to special projects by applying problem-solving methodologies to improve processes and continuously advance Talent Acquisition capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, human resources or a related role.
Fluent (written and verbal) in English and Portuguese.
Familiarity with recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and candidate evaluation methods.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and collaborate with hiring teams.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance during recruitment processes.
Experience in conducting competency-based interviews and utilizing behavioral interview techniques.
Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technology tools.
Ability to assess cultural fit and align candidates with the organization's values and goals.
Preferred Requirements
Experience using Workday Recruit.
Fluent in French
Proficiency in employer branding strategies and utilizing social media platforms for recruitment.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills to foster connections within the industry.
Previous involvement in diversity and inclusion initiatives and the ability to attract diverse talent.
