The Role?
The Operational Treasury Specialist reports to the Operational Treasury Manager and has responsibility for General ledger in EIMEA and North America regions, namely the postings of Corporate Treasury activities, record bank statements, general bank administration in a daily basis, as well as give audit support and period-end activities.

What will YOU do?
Daily Bank Activity and G/L Bookings (60%)
Period–End Closing and Reporting Activity (30%)
Compliance and AD HOC Support (5%)
Process Improvement (5%)
- Responsible for the booking of bank activity for banks in North America (SAP FEBA)
- Post bank activities for other non-EBS banks
- Book G/L postings of all activity performed by Corporate Treasury (FLIPs)
- Support other departments within RTR (chief accountants, intercompany, others) to ensure timely bookings and resolution of any queries
- Establish strong network with key stakeholders to provide partnership through quality service delivery and timely issue resolution – C&C, A/P
- Follow-up and understanding of Intercompany Loans and other financial products
- Follow up on Cash in Transit (CIT) items and perform ad hoc reclassifications
- Conduct Kyriba preliminary checks and weekly balance reviews
- Complete period-end close activities as assigned (checklists, reclassifications, etc.)
- Review Kyriba intercompany statements and book interests
- Book period-end Journal entries performed by Corporate Treasury (intercompany interest accruals, Swaps, Mark to market, FX settlements) and guarantee that supporting documentation is in place
- Reconcile intercompany loans with Treasury Partners (TP), review and resolve differences
- Perform period-end bank account and other reconciliations
Minimum Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management or similar.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in an accounting, treasury, finance or GFS environment.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Ability to work with a team, take general directions from manager’s, focus attention to details, follow work needs, and adhere to established work schedules.
- Organized, Motivated, Professional and Excellent Analytical Skills;
Preferred Requirements
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Strong knowledge of SAP, Kyriba, and reconciliation tools (e.g., Blackline).
