Position Overview
A Product Manager plays a key role in driving the product line strategy for Building Adhesive Solutions across the Middle East region and ensuring effective system implementation. This position manages critical stage-gate and consolidation projects to enable successful product commercialization and may provide oversight to Analysts or Specialists.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop Product Strategy & Roadmaps: Lead the creation of product strategies and roadmaps for Sealants, Adhesives, and Coatings, considering technology trends and regional requirements for construction, fireproofing, and infrastructure projects.
Drive Project Specifications: Engage with consultants and architects to influence specifications and secure product adoption in key projects.
Enable Sales Success: Collaborate with sales teams to design market-driven solutions and develop effective sales tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with strategic marketing, R&D, and commercial teams to support informed decision-making.
Market & Product Research: Conduct in-depth product line research to guide strategic initiatives and communicate insights across the organization.
Pricing & Profitability: Recommend pricing strategies to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee product lifecycle activities, including rationalization and global product line initiatives.
Performance & Productivity: Drive improvements in productivity, profitability, and EBITDA through successful project execution.
Team Leadership: Transition from individual contributor to managing PLM team members, focusing on performance, delivery, and development.
KPI Management: Develop and report key global PLM metrics and KPIs.
Strategic Support: Refine product line blue chips and support strategic initiatives.
Mentorship: Provide coaching, supervision, and mentoring to peers where applicable.
Autonomy: Operate with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong decision-making capabilities.

Management & Supervision: Coordinate activities of professional staff and/or manage first-line supervisors across multiple sections or disciplines.
Knowledge & Application: Translate objectives into actionable plans, allocate resources, and recommend policy changes. Decisions influence team methods and techniques.
Complexity & Problem Solving: Address diverse issues requiring evaluation of multiple factors; develop operational initiatives to deliver tactical results.
Discretion & Impact: Convert functional plans into operational processes; decisions have significant cost and long-term impact.
Collaboration & Interaction: Engage frequently with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders; communicate results and recommendations effectively across disciplines.

Minimum Requirements
4-year college degree, with a technical/mechanical, marketing, or chemistry background preferred
Minimum 5+ years of relevant sales experience; related construction industry and B2B experience, preferably with a chemistry background. Minimum 3 years' experience in the GCC region.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.
Travel time depends on the size/geography of the territory.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
