The Lab Technician IV plays a critical role in supporting laboratory operations by preparing technical reports, conducting adhesive testing, and maintaining equipment. This position ensures the accuracy and reliability of laboratory analyses, supports internal and external stakeholders, and upholds safety and quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical reports for market-related laboratory investigations.
  • Provide quotations and purchasing recommendations for laboratory equipment.
  • Develop and manage a monthly purchasing plan for consumables.
  • Monitor and report on DOA (Deviation of Analysis).
  • Offer internal technical support for new adhesive testing and customer complaints.
  • Conduct comparative testing and document results.
  • Analyze physicochemical properties of adhesives and determine raw material approval or rejection.
  • Create, validate, and implement analytical methodologies.
  • Train interns during onboarding.
  • Participate in online client meetings to present technical reports.
  • Interface with suppliers for equipment acquisition and training.
  • Use PPE in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area.
  • Comply with company Ethics, Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Junior college degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in laboratory work or technical support.
  • Strong hands-on laboratory skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in the adhesives or chemical industry.
  • Additional certifications in laboratory analysis or equipment handling.
  • Proficiency in English and/or other relevant languages.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with laboratory management systems or tools.
