Lab Technician

The Lab Technician provides technical support to scientists, assists with new product introduction (NPI) verification, and conducts related testing. This role may occasionally support Sales and Quality Control teams in customer complaint investigations.

Primary Responsibilities
• Serve as a subject matter expert in specific research areas or laboratory techniques
• Design and implement advanced experimental methodologies
• Actively contribute to the development of new products or technologies
• Mentor junior and mid-level technicians and provide career development guidance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external partners on research initiatives
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Minimum Requirements
• Junior college degree or higher in chemistry-related majors
• 8+ years of experience in the field or technical support
• Strong hands-on laboratory skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Requirements
• Experience in product development environments
• Familiarity with advanced laboratory techniques and equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
