Logistics Coordinator Leader

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing logistics activities related to international trade operations (imports and exports), third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse management, and national deliveries. This role ensures cost efficiency, on-time performance, and high-quality customer service throughout the supply chain.

Primary Responsibilities

International Trade Coordination

  • Supervise all import and export processes, including documentation management, customs clearance, and compliance with trade regulations
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, international carriers, and customs authorities
  • Ensure proper application of Incoterms, tariff classifications, permits, and non-tariff regulations

3PL Warehouse Management

  • Oversee operations with third-party logistics providers, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and outbound dispatches
  • Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) established with logistics partners
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and seamless data exchange between internal systems and 3PL warehouse management systems (WMS)

Domestic Distribution Planning

  • Organize and supervise national distribution, including route planning and delivery schedules
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to ensure on-time and complete deliveries (OTD)
  • Manage transportation documentation and follow up on deliveries through to customer confirmation

Cost and Process Optimization

  • Analyze and optimize logistics costs related to storage, transportation, and customs
  • Propose and implement continuous improvements in distribution, warehousing, and trade operations
  • Negotiate rates and service terms with logistics and freight providers

Operational Monitoring and Control

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs): delivery times, route compliance, service levels, inventory turnover, etc.
  • Prepare logistics performance reports and present findings to senior management
  • Manage and resolve logistics incidents, including delays, product damage, returns, and losses

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with purchasing, sales, customer service, and finance departments to align logistics operations with business goals
  • Communicate delivery timelines, operational constraints, and critical updates to internal teams and customers

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, or related fields
  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics coordination roles, including international trade, 3PL operations, and national distribution
  • Knowledge of import/export processes and customs regulations
  • Proficiency in Incoterms, tariff classification, and trade agreements
  • Advanced English (written and spoken)
  • Experience with TMS and ERP systems – SAP / TOTVS Datasul

Preferred Requirements

  • Certification or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or international trade
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with logistics cost analysis and KPI management
  • Operational leadership and strategic planning abilities
  • Problem-solving in logistics and supply chain environments
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Adaptability and stress management in dynamic contexts
