The Production Operator performs entry-level production tasks under supervision, supporting the preparation, mixing, packaging, and quality control of chemical products. This role ensures compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. The operator is also responsible for accurate documentation and adherence to company standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare raw materials and packaging by verifying labels, weights, types, and lot/batch numbers.
- Operate mixers according to process instructions, including loading, sampling, unloading, and packing.
- Document process data to ensure traceability and compliance with legal requirements.
- Follow all H.B. Fuller quality and operational procedures.
- Ensure initial testing and product release meet specifications.
- Maintain high visual and quality standards for finished products.
- Package final products per instructions and report any labeling errors.
- Maintain machinery and work areas in clean, proper condition.
- Complete and manage personal training documentation.
- Comply with all legal and company EHS policies and report any safety deviations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
- Basic educational degree, high school diploma, or chemical education.
- 2+ years of experience as a Production Operator I or 3+ years in an industrial environment.
- Familiarity with common software programs (e.g., TOTVS/ERP).
- Ability to read and understand work orders, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
- Availability to work in shifts.
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge of chemical mixing and packaging processes.
