Position Title: Site quality Manager
Location: Surbourg – France
Position Overview:
The Position of Site quality Manager reports to the Plant Manager and manages the quality Control (QC) department with its assigned staff, and leads the Quality Management system. The employee has the responsibility and authority to ensure compliance with the customer's requirements (selection of special characteristics, setting of quality and associated training objectives, corrective and preventive actions, product design and development; capacity analysis, logistics data and analysis of the dashboards of customer indicators and consultation of customers' internet portals).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead Quality Culture at site and ensure all EIMEA and site Quality processes are understood and followed.
- Lead activities to improve Quality system so site certifications are maintained or reached, and customer requirements are met.
- Owns & manage site IMS (Integrated Management System).
- Actively search for continuous improvements and work closely with site Mgt. team to improve site performance in term of yield, rejects reduction, …
- Evaluate the product Quality and production performance with statistical tools and propose, coordinates actions with R&D to improve product capability
- Coordinates and prepare site for Customer audits
- Lead Supplier Complaint Management for the site, will ask & get support from Sourcing as per criticality, and if required may do supplier audits
- Organize Quality training for the site.
- Lead ac, organize together with the site Manager the in process and final controls to ensure RM & products are released according to procedure and on time.
- Positively participate in EIMEA quality projects to improve and develop the quality performance.
- Responsible for internal auditor for the region.
- Ensure reporting as required.
- Constant compliance with environmental regulations.
- Actively collaboration in control of cost for the whole plant and deep involved in all the improving projects or new installation at the plant.
- Support any other plant or HBF organization when needed. Strong collaboration with rest of plants, S&OP organization for the customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
- Chemical engineering or Process engineering degree with 5 years' work experience.
- Minimum 4+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment. ideally in chemical industry, adhesive industry would be a plus.
- Good spoken & written English and French language capability. Other languages are a plus.
- Good team worker with high communication skills, ability to enthuse others and drive demanding projects.
- Deep Knowledge on the Quality standards (ISO 9001, 14001, IATF).
- Lean tools 6 sigma and others is a plus.
- Good computer skills, MS Office and MS Project.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
- Leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
- Sensitivity towards other cultures.
