Job Description
  • Maintain territory revenues and profit margins in line with Company budgets and expectations.
  • Integrate formal data driven sales processes to manage and develop customer relationships. (i.e.Strategic Selling, SFDC, Customer Needs Mapping etc.)
  • Understand the customers’ business environment and develop appropriate tactics to support achievement of business strategic objectives and growth goals.
  • Develop and present value statements or sales propositions to the customer that respond to identified customer needs on factors other than price.
  • Develop and maintain detailed customer plans with existing and prospective key accounts that are critical to achieving territory revenue and profit margin goals.
  • Maintain up to date pricing files for all customers within the defined territory.
  • Provide market intelligence on competitor activities, products, and prices.
  • Provide forecasts on short or long-term customer buying shifts to assist in the preparation of forward manufacturing plans.
  • Liaise with the Credit Officer to assist with contact and collection of delinquent accounts.
  • Keep in good working order and oversee the maintenance of, any property of the Company for which he/she has charge.
  • At all times represent the Company in a professional manner consistent with the Company's image, policies and corporate responsibility to health, safety and the environment.
  • Ensure that activities related to the function comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
  • Participate in other activities and provide other information as requested.

Required Skills
Minimum Requirements
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Negotiation ability
  • Analytical and problem solving ability (read and analyse sales data)
  • Sound interpersonal skills
  • Sound computer skills (word/excel/power point)
  • Valid driver licence for the state within which the position exists
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of Sealants & Adhesives a benefit
  • Effective self-manager
