Position Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Tamworth – On-site

Position Overview:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving equipment and systems across the site to ensure safe and reliable operations. This role also supports continuous improvement projects and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and contractors.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on facility systems and equipment.

  • Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure safe and efficient operations.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure timely completion of tasks.

  • Support plant improvements, equipment installations, and process upgrades.

  • Conduct safety checks and risk assessments in line with company standards.

  • Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and drive continuous improvement.

  • Promote and maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a maintenance or technical role.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time management skills.

  • Knowledge of health and safety practices and commitment to promoting a safe work environment.

  • Proficient IT skills with Microsoft Office; Emaint & ERP systems preferred.

  • FLT License and permit writing experience are a plus (training available).

  • Positive, adaptable, and dependable with a hands-on approach.

  • Collaborative team player who lives the values of Safety, Care, and Trust, and can maintain morale under pressure.
