Position Title: Production Operator
Location: Tamworth – Onsite
Position Overview
The Production Operator I plays a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by operating equipment and affiliated processes such as preparing raw materials, packaging, unloading, and labeling. This role ensures compliance with company standards and legal regulations while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The position reports directly to the Production Manager/Supervisor.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare raw materials and packaging by identifying and transporting correct quantities to production areas
Operate processing equipment according to instructions and procedures
Monitor equipment to maintain desired run rates
Conduct initial product testing and release to ensure specification compliance
Verify labels and packaging materials for accuracy and compliance
Package final products in line with H.B. Fuller quality standards
Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned work area
Follow all quality, safety, and environmental procedures and regulations
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager/Supervisor
Minimum Requirements
Standard UK education (e.g. GCSE, etc.)
Fluent in English
Good grades in Maths and English
Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
Ability to read and understand work orders, safety regulations, and quality instructions
Willingness to work in shifts
Preferred Requirements
1 year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with production processes and safety protocols
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
